First and foremost, the customer service was phenomenal. We were greeted with warm welcomes from Shannon and she took the time to explain the whole menu to us and give us her recommendations. (They have a secret menu btw and also 35% off for military on Mondays!) They are a local business and have amazing food. Absolutely go check them out and support them! I have to give Shannon a huge shoutout because she truly made our first visit above and beyond.

Their trash nachos with the queso are DELICIOUS. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu if they can make something so simple taste that good, I'm sure the rest will be phenomenal. Cheap too! 9 dollars and some change for a pretty sizable amount of nachos. I will definitely be back!

Great food and great service. I went in for lunch with co workers and didn't order anything, Shanon pulled me aside to make sure I wasn't missing a meal because I couldn't afford it. Really appreciate the kind gesture, also the food is delicious. Love their queso, the burgers are great, and their sweet tea is on point. Definitely worth a try.

We love Taco Burgers. The crunch of the tacos is the bestttttt. Peace Love and Green Chili

So glad we found this restaurant on Tik Tok!!! Very willing to give up the secret menu to all customers new or seasoned. Has the feel of a good ole burger joint with the beautiful Colorado Views. Definitely will be coming back next time we're in CO.

Hubby and I had to try this place out. I've been seeing all the posts on Instagram! We live on the opposite side of town and it was very much worth the drive. We purposely went there on Tuesday for $2 taco burgers and was not disappointed. The green chili was on point with the perfect amount of heat. The red sauce was full of flavor and SPICY! Fresh cut fries came out hot and fresh. The green chili queso and chips were delish! The staff front and back were very friendly. We even met the owner, Felipe, very appreciative for our business. Will definitely be back. This is a go to place for sure. My husband and I own Lynda Sue's Kitchen, which we make Lynda Sue's Salsa. It was great meeting you.

I've been wanting to try this establishment for a very long time. The idea never escaped me because their social media game has been extraordinary, as far as showing up on my feed CONSTANTLY. So there I was....like I always am, on Hancock. Looking for a little adventure....some interesting people perhaps....But mostly, I was hungry. And as luck would have it....today Felipe would be my hungers adversary. The first thing I noticed was, every door on the building was open. Normally I wouldn't think much of this, but...it was hotter than a sauna outside...so either they were trying to help cool down the city.....or the AC wasn't working. Well....turns out they weren't championing cool air, but that just meant one less door for me to open. I was on a mission. I was greeted by a small but confident gentleman, that sensed my hesitance, so he broke down the menu sprinkling in items that others find delightful. I had noticed outside in huge letters the words "TACO BURGERS." I inquired about those and he delivered a thorough description....but his pitch was accompanied with the word "small" and..."might need four or so of them"....so I broke my gaze for a bit. But then he spoke of the "SOMBRERO BURGER".... And got the audience of one right back, locked in. This one felt like home. It felt like.... They were crafting it on the spot...for me.....custom. So I made my decision. The 10ft letters weren't going to NOT have me try a taco burger....so I definitely ordered one of those.... On the side..... of what was inevitable. The Sombrero Burger. He asked if I wanted an extra patty on there....I told him it offended me that he'd ask. I'm here for all of it. I paid...grabbed my styrofoam cup and headed over to the machine that quickly showed me...AC was not all they were out of. Let's just say it was a good thing I was getting water anyway. Everything was being made fresh, so I had a moment to take in what the area has to offer. I had the option to explore outside a bit and sit at a picnic bench... but I decided hearing my name called when my order was up was more important. Before I knew it...there he was with my tray. He'd already allocated my napkins, ketchup and silverware, which I thought was a little assuming, but later found out he had the count perfect. I sat down with my tray and the spread looked immaculate! Starting the fries, normally not a fry guy, but they had the skin on them...and I like that. Convinces me that they were indeed derived from potatoes. They were hot, fresh and delicious. The well advertised Taco Burger....WAS indeed small. Basically half a burger in a corn taco shell. I'm not a huge fan of corn taco shells....and typically lean into the flour option... like a true fat ass....but I HAVE to say, the green chili on this thing was absolutely on point. That alone made it a wonderful appetizer for what was next. The Sombrero Burger. *STANDARD: A gourmet burger patty with melted American cheese packed with green chili salsa, a fried egg, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream all on a toasted bun. *but keep in mind....I opted for that second patty...because I'm trying to be thorough with my research. In my humble opinion, Felipes Sombrero Burger rivals anything I've had prior for top of my scale. Preparation and presentation was elite, and I used EVERY. SINGLE. NAPKIN. But as I mentioned, the count was right. The Burger was absolutely amazing. *I saw some folks getting their orders to go. I don't recommend that, if you dabble outside the taco burgers. I don't think the other options would yield well on the trip home from a messy perspective. As I stood up, and made my way outside....feeling young, fit, and ready to take on the world....I saw the gentleman that took my order coming back to the building after hand delivering a to-go order. I mustered a salute. He smiled and said "see you next time." And we both knew..... He would.

Absolute best hamburgers in Colorado Springs. It's not even close. I recommend ignoring all the "taco burger" hype and just getting the OG Burger -- it's the best. During and immediately after the COVID pandemic it was only possible to eat here if you went through the drive thru. You could either drive home with your burger and fries and hope it doesn't get soggy, or eat in the megachurch parking lot next door. Management now insists that it's possible to order from the counter and eat at the restaurant, but I have yet to see anyone do so.

A buddy and I were thinking about lunch yesterday and he asked if I had any place I really wanted to try. I remembered all the advertisements I'd seen about Felipe's 109. He asked me, "why there?" The owner just seems to be a very good guy. Pro-cop, pro-military, pro-small, local business. And so am I. We were not disappointed! From the cheerful greetings as we walked in, the great service, delicious food, to the friendly farewells as we left. Everything was great and made me want to return again. I had the taco burgers and fries. The taco burgers had super crisp shells that didn't fall apart when I bit it. The meat was delicious. I would've liked to have just a bit more. The fries were fantastic! Fresh, crispy on the outside and soft and hot inside. Perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely return to try other items on the menu.
